I firmly believe that one of the most important ways to keep your GLO strong for future generations is to donate your time and money!
I pay my alumna dues to both my local chapter and International.
I also donate to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation in a really fun way--they direct debit $19.04 every month from my checking account! It hurts the pocketbook much less than donating in one lump sum. I don't miss the money at all.
I've donated to the Campaign for Alpha Gamma Delta, which is our "countdown to the centennial" Capital Campaign. I spread that donation out over 4 years so I could make a more significant gift. I love how our Foundation bends over backwards to make donating easy for our alumnae.
God willing, when I become rich and famous, I'll be able to make a substantial gift to the Foundation. Until then, I just keep donating what I can.
