I donate to the Phi Mu Foundation. Only about $25 or so per year but I've been out of school less than 2 years and that's about all I can afford right now. I look at it this way....small donations over time DO add up to make a difference. Think about if every alum donated just $10 or $20 per year. That would add up to be a substantial amount of money for that organization. I think that many people don't donate because they don't think their $20 matters, but it really does. (sorry for the mini soapbox!)
Also with Phi Mu you are recognized for certain levels of cumulative gifts. Your name is published in the Aglaia (our magazine) and their may be a dangle or charm for this as well.
