Thumbs down Re: Re: Blue Eyed Soul Singer

I guess you are right if you think of soul music in the classical sense of the word i.e played on the Black radio stations, I thought of soul in the more philosophical sense meaning the lyrics used touch the soul in some way, shape, or form. As for most of the artists that I mentioned, their songs were actually redone by singers you may deem "soul" artists i.e. Carole King's Natural Woman.

Peace and Blessings

Maybe the Bee Gees and MAYBE Phil Collins, but are those other ones REALLY Blue-Eyed Soul Singers? I haven't heard any of the other's music on R&B stations. Especially Simon and Garfunkel.

Carole King-she had a hit in the 70s,but she's no Teena Marie. LOL. Carly Simon? I've NEVA heard her on R&B.
