The movie is "Not Without my Daughter".
She married an Iranian (Persian) guy in the USA. (not an Arab)
They went to Iran together with their daughter and he did not want to go back to the US. So she had to flee Iran with her daughter and flee through the mountains of Turkey or something like that.
