Fans of the Apollo are mourning the loss of Howard ‘Sandman’ Sims. Sims was the tap dance Icon and fixture on the Apollo Show. Sims died in a nursing home after a long illness he was also known for chasing the bad performers off the stage with a cane.

Pop Star Sting will be teaming up with Mary J Blige for the song ‘Whenever I say your name’ from his forthcoming lp Sacred Love.

The feud continues between Maiah Carey and Rapper Eminem. Eminem claims he has a voicemail that Mariah left him when they were dating. Eminen says she is talking in a baby voice and he went on to say that she was crazy. Mariah says if Eminen uses her voicemail on a recording he will have to deal with her lawyers . Mariah says she is sick of Eminen. She says she feels like she is back in the seventh grade fighting with a girl.

Stevie Wonder’s EX-Wife Singer Syreeta Wright is not doing well. Syreeta has bone cancer and Stevie is asking his fans to keep her in their prayers. Syreeta is best known for the recordings ‘By your Side and With you I’m born again with Billy Preston.

Michael Jackson had to be rushed to a hospital following a fainting spell. Sources say this was a publicity stunt because he is being sued and he doesn’t want the trial on Court TV. Michael is being sued by his former business partner a Korean Lawyer who claims he was not paid for his services. Michael is being sued for 14 million dollars and he is trying to avoid having cameras in the courtroom.

Filming has been delayed on the long awaited Homey the Clown Movie . Damon Wayans was set to star and his brother was going to direct the movie but scheduling conflicts came up with his ABC Show ‘My wife and Kids’. The character Homey the clown was made popular by Damon when he starred on the comedy show In Living Color.

Singer Deborah Cox is no longer at J Records. Deborah says she was ready to make a change and go into another direction after being under the management of music legend Clive Davis. Deborah and her husband are awaiting the birth of their first child on July 4th.

The Music duo group of Floetry will be teaming up with Patti Labelle for two songs on her new album.

Lauryn Hill is back in the studio working on a new Lp. Lauryn is teaming up with the Wailers on this project. Years ago the Wailers and the Legendary Bob Marley topped the charts with their Reggae classics.
