Kappa's Grand President badge is the all-diamond special award key (
eighth one down on this page) with a golden circle dangle, attatched directly to the badge to distinguish her office. She wears a gold version of our new member pin (
seventh one down on this page) as a guard.
I got to see the current guard presented to Grand President Ann Stafford Truesdell at our National Convention in June, 2002. I very much like the symbolism of the new member pin as guard to the president's badge. It shows the link between every new member, at the beginning of her journey, and the Grand President, serving in Kappa's highest office.
