I believe it is very important to donate to your national organization. Even if it is just $20 your contributions add up over time as do those of all the members cumulatively.
I pay my international and local alumnae dues and contribute to our foundation. If you are a recent grad (within the first 5 years) and donate $20 or $25 or more you receive an ivy leaf pin from the foundation.
We also have different donor circles and an 1872 recognition for women who have given $1872.
