My name is Bess, and it is short for Elizabeth--I don't know where my mom got that! Anyway, most of my old friends call me Bess, as does my family, but at work and school, it's Elizabeth. Not to be more grown up, but just because it is easier. And then there are some who call me Stewie and other takes on the name Stewart--my middle name.
