I pay my alum dues on the local and national level and donate to the Alpha Phi Foundation - which supports cardiac care for women and infants.
Even if you can send $20 its important. Go without going out to dinner with friends one night or don't buy those shoes that are just going to hurt your feet anyways! It will add up! (not to mention donations to the Foundation are a tax deduction!)
