Hi girls! I'm new to these boards and as I've been reading about several Trojans on the board, I've decided to introduce myself. My name is Whitney and I rushed my freshman year (which feels like forever ago!) and am really excited for rush this year! Mainly because I'm the co-head for Day One. Which basically means that I help run Convo Day for my house.
It'll be a challenge, as Convo Day is one of the most important days, but I'm excited!
USChica06, good luck in the fall! Sorry things didn't work out last year, but I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. I'm glad you're giving it a second shot and just remember to always be yourself!
Oh, and just a warning: If you plan on watching MTV throughout August and September, please don't be scared! Sorority Life has filmed their 3rd season with a multi-cultural sorority on campus. We have no idea how the sorority or school will be portrayed, but please just remember that whatever is reflected on the show regarding rush and other sorority events does not always apply to Panhellenic. That sorority is not included in Panhellenic's formal recruitment in the fall. As the Panhellenic Delegate for my sorority, we've dealt with this issue a lot. Hopefully, we're prepared to answer a bunch of tough questions about the show in the fall.
