GPA is always an important factor for chapters, as they have to maintain their own group GPA with their HQs. Also, as sorority women, we want to have girls who can learn to deal with the time constraints of sorority, work, school, etc. If a PNM comes in very close on GPA, someone may ask her why if they really like her or she makes a great impression. If she doesn't, she would probably get cut. It sucks, but unfortunately, standards and rules are what we have to follow. smiley21, best of luck to you!! Make sure you find out what minimum GPA you need to go through recruitment, and make sure you meet that. Then, let the chips fall where they may, or wait a semester and bring your grades up a bit more!
