I have to admit I didn't read the thread, but I think it's fairly obvious that, while you might proud of Texas, most of the rest of us are just as proud of our states. I love Wisconsin to death and I'm not afraid to admit that, even though it's bashed a lot, most of the time by people who've never even been here. So I think it's fair to say that while you should be proud of your state (there are a lot of great things about Texas
), it's best to be proud without stepping on anybody else's toes . . . 'cause we all love our states just as much as you love Texas.
I have to admit that sometimes people take things a little too seriously around here, though.
