Will admit it big time! Mr. Adrienne and I saw it this weekend. We were *howling* as was the rest of the audience.
Not only did we not find it offensive, we were amazed (in a good way) that any Hollywood picture would portray a blatantly positive, traditional message--granted many Christian roots there, but much that could be applied to any major religion.
Morgan Freeman as God was genius--he must have watched George Burns' "Oh God" performances a hundred times before applying his own interpretation.
IMHO, very refreshing picture--a lot of people had to be on board with the positive message, which itself gives me new hope for the people in la-la land.
. It would only have taken one malcontent to derail the project and that didn't happen.
