Then please share it with us! We love rush/recruitment stories around here, and boy are we going through recruitment story detox. There have been some very interesting fraternity recruitment posts in the past and I'd like to read some others.

Just a joke trying to say that i was a great sign for my fraternity.
But i guess i will go ahead and give my story if i must. Well first off at Oklahoma State, the rush if informal and usually done over the summer by calling guys up and meeting them and hanging out and inviting guys to rush functions at lakes or whatever. Ends on Signing day where its a big deal with a lot put into putting forth a good face and its like a Banquet. Rush continues if guys haven't signed yet and are interested or if a guy who has signed knows a friend who might be a good duy. Theres the background.
The story: I got called by a few houses and went out to eat with the rush chairman and a brother of the house with five different house before i went to work at a summer camp in Minnesota for a month. Before i left i received calls from 4 other houses, but i just didn't have time to meet them. Over my month long seclusion i return with my mother telling me i had calls from nearly every house at OSU with messages about them calling me back when i got back in town. So i am in Town for two days and i get a call from Pi Kappa Alpha, as well as a few others, and it would be my first time to actually meet the guys even though i had talked to them before. Well by this time i had missed the bulk of summer rush. And i was just a lead they still had. I went out with them three times, toured the house ones and met other guys once as well. I was reluctant to sign first becuase i also wanted to see what college life was like as well as the reputations on campus of the Fraternities. I talked to a friend who was a sophomore and she said that the Pikes were cool guys and had a good rep on campus and with her sorority, so i signed. The best descision of my life. Never had so much fun, enjoyed IMs, and who would have thought i would have done some of the things i have done. Nothing bad but just unexpecting like wearing make up and singing in front of a full Gallagher Iba Arean for Spring Sing.
