People go home alot, but there is alot to do. Yes, it does help that we're close to Nashville! It's fun up here. There's much more to do than just go to frat parties!
Edited to say - I'm in Elementary Ed as well! Most ADPi's here seem to be Elementary Ed, too. You'll love it - we have a great program.
THere's a few clubs here, although I'm not really into the club scene so I can't tell you much about them./ There's also alot to do on campus.
