Well I haven't read this thread so I hope no one's posted this...i wouldn't expect anyone to, but....
I CANNOT STAND when people write a famous quote somewhere and attribute it to the person they heard it from, not the one that said it.
for example, my old friend used to have this signature at the bottom of her emails that said "Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow....." yep, it's the FOOTPRINTS poem adorned on like every single friendship/christian gift in the world. At the end, it says "- Kate Smith"
OMG your cousin did not come up with that!!!!! Like she's some sort of 21st century genius or something...
I cannot explain how much it pisses me off but it's just something that totally gets under my skin.
