Nope, I missed it! My mother-in-law called me frantically about thirty minutes before it started and begged me NOT to go outside. Apparently, there is an old Mexican superstition that if a pregnant woman goes out during a lunar eclipse her baby will have a very noticable birth mark or cleft pallet. She said that if I absolutely needed to go outside, then I needed to wear a safety pin in front of my belly button! SO WEIRD!
I really hope that there is no one out there who believes that!
