Well, my story doesn't hold a candle to AxJules, but here it is.
I was getting to high school one day really early. It was so early, i had had the headlights on on the way over there, but the sun was up when I got there. Of course, I forget they're on and leave them, burning up the battery. I get out of class, and discover that the battery's dead. I leave my purse in the car as I go to call my dad to beg for help; after all, I have keyless entry, right?
Wrong. I learned the hard way that it doesn't work when the battery's dead. So I have to truck it all the way back to call my dad again and inform him that I also locked my keys into the car, and thus cannot pop the hood. He had to call my grandfather, who was then getting ready to leave to come help, and tell him he better bring a hanger so we could break into my car. Two hours later, I was finally on the road.
What's really sad is that's one of about a half dozen Megan and a dead car battery stories I have. I don't have a very good track record.
