Hello ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and sisterfriends. I'm currentyly a student attending a four year university in the Georgia area. The ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha have been off the campus since December of 1998 as result of hazing. I was just wondering what is the time period before that chapter can be reinstated, due to those circumstances. I was told that it could take as long as 5 years or until the last lady of AKA graduated. And to my knowledge I was told that she will be graduating soon. I was also told that the graduate chapter at my university would have to be the one to reinstate the chapter. I currently have a 2.8 GPA, I'm involved with my community, as well as being involved with my campus. I know that you need more than that to be a laday of AKA but I just had a few questions that needed some clearifying. (As you can see, I receive a lot of my information from heresay.)
