1. Maybe the people that are around you are not worthy of being in your present. Maybe it's time you seek nirvana through your own personal voyage.
2. It's easier for somebody to have a stupid mate as it is less work for them in their life. For instance:
I go and seek knowledge in hooters. Now if my girlfriend/wive is smart, she will ask me why and what is the purpose to the visit. Now if she is dumb, she will smile and ask me if I want to make out.
