I don't know how it is where you live, but the education market here in CA is tough. Based on that, I would say stick with it until you can find something better. Who knows, maybe those people will get their heads out of their collective ***** and you'll enjoy working there again.
One positive about your job: if your superiors keep it up, then there should be plenty of room for advancement.
