All this talk it making me want to get it done as well. Now that its summer time, and its starting to get very hot and humid, my hair just gets out of control. I almost always have to wear it up, and sometimes to the extreme of a bun, to where I have NO hair sticking up, or out.
Thing is, sometimes i get my hair flat ironed, and I love it because its super straight, super smooth and so shiny, but after a couple of hours, I want my hair back- reason is because its so flat and I love how I have volume and texture. Plus, I think having super stick straight hair, and a round face dont go hand in hand.
I once had my hair straightened and it was fine, but my scalp hurt for a couple of days afterwards, and washing my hair was a pain, literally.
The lady wasnt very experienced, because she didnt tell me that I had to tell her when i felt it burning, so I just sat there trying to hold it out until i couldnt take it anymore and had to tell her. Also, the ends of my hair touched my cheek like twice, and so then I had like a little scar because it burned my skin- that stuff is VERY strong!!
