That happened to me, too, only it was about curling irons! Somehow I got on a convo about my curly hair and how I don't use curling irons but did back in the 80's. Well, the first girl came to rotate and I got introduced and they used that, "We were just talking about curling irons and 80's hair" so she and I started that whole conversation again, then the next rotater came and I got the same introduction and, thus, the same convo. My roommate was in this house, though, and I knew they had bad rush skills - she even said so. But all I could think was, if I join this house will I have the same horrible conversations over and over for the next 4 years?!?! I didn't have the heart to cut them until right before Pref (b/c of my roomie) but every party there was painfully boring!
