I think the room sounds awesome! Colorful is fun, in my opinion. If I had room like that (I wish!) I would probably go for something funky -- maybe pick one color from the walls, say purple -- and get bed stuff that includes it -- something simple like white with purple stripes or polka dots would be cool. You could maybe play around with textures -- like find a fuzzy blanket or satiny pillows or something, but keep it all the same shade if you can.
Otherwise, you could do just plain white sheets, which would look kind of cool with all the color. I think that with the colors you've mentioned, white would look a lot better than cream.
