One of the few things I am truly disappointed about with our Fraternity, is that our expansion is so weak. Yes, I do agree that we need to get back to the schools we were at in the past FIRST, but at the same time, we should have 10 other colonies going at NEW schools every year.
If it were not for the laxed expansion of our fraternity in the late 1800's and early 1900's, Beta Theta Pi would be an even stonger fraternity, with over 200 chapters. Sigma Chi is younger than us, but has a ton more chapters than us. Not only that, but they are a strong ass fraternity. SAE is the same way. Don't get me wrong, comparing them to Beta is like apples to oranges, but we are now learning from them, what THEY SHOULD HAVE been learning from us.
Off the soap box for now. Expansion is key to our fraternity. Without it, we will fail. It is RUSH on a national level.
