DeltaBetaBaby, is the credit check company CIC Credit Monitoring Services? If it is, the exact same thing happened to me, and I've never even HEARD of that company! I'm sending a letter to my credit card company to dispute the charges.
BTW, I Googled "CIC Credit Monitoring Services" and found that they've done this to a bunch of other people too. What ingrates!
