Okay, what I mean by 'far exceeds' is that my best friend (whom I have known since we were 6) has a 3.42 G.P.A. and she is a Chemistry major. She volunteers at least six hours a week with a local battered women's shelter (her mother was a battered woman), she is in the army reserve and is the friendlist person you would ever want to meet. I hate to say it, but I think she didn't make it because none of the young women running the rush 'knew her'. That is to say, she doesn't go to the parties or kiss up. She went to almost all of the events that year in an effort to try to get to know some of these women, but no one would give her the time of day. I think that these young ladies were picking their friends and not over-qualified women like my girl.
