let me just keep it real sorors. i am all for positive organizations, so i wish these ladies the best of luck with their new sorority, HOWEVER i'm sure this founder and her recruits knew that the color pink (which we do not own of course) is widely associated among bglo's with AKA. If i saw a black female wearing pink (without the thin gold trim, we greeks don't always wear both colors) at a step show or greek event, etc. i would naturally think at first glance that she MIGHT be a soror and many others would/could initially mistake them for AKA's (pause) so, how convenient for her IF she or her members shared AKA aspirations. They could have been more creative/original in the area of color choice, BUT since we don't have a monopoly on pink or green, nor do we want/accept just anybody who wants to sport the colors, i can only hope that these ladies enjoy their new organization as much as we do ours and wear their pink and gold proudly.
