Your point about Talbots looking mature in your 20s is well taken. I didn't start shopping there until I was about 27 or 28, which would be in the early 90s. Now that I'm close to 40 and my body's changed, it is a look that is grownup and looks well.

Then again, I think Gap, Banana Republic and J. Crew are timeless neat looks for a person in her 20s. I just happen to think that you will be taken more seriously, especially in the workplace, if you cover up. You should see some of the women who work in my office building.
