In an ideal world, no. But unfortunately, that's a major thing now. I hate to see badges up for auction and I thought some other organizations might feel the same way, which is why I've tried to give some heads up. People lose their badges, some badges are stolen, sometimes when people die their badge is sold or just not kept up with and then sometimes, people sell their own badge.
