I wanted everyone to know exactly what was going on, so I thought I would copy and paste this email...I feel like this could be just what we're looking for!
Hi Corina,
I've presented your case to Nationals, and they have agreed to look into expanding at UC Santa Cruz. Before we continue, I want to be absolutely certain that you ladies are prepared to give up your letters, and be a part of our intake and expansion process, keeping in mind that your intake and ours is most probably different.
Am I correct in saying that all of the members of Nu Beta Omicron are interested in expanding nationally to Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.? If so, we need to address the possible scenario of some of the girls (for one reason or another), dropping out or losing interest in Theta Nu Xi. If this happens, will they remain a chapter/entity of Nu Beta Omicron on the campus?
Please discuss this with the other ladies in your group, and let me know your thoughts & comments. I look forward to hearing from you, and hopefully, beginning the process of expansion and colonization! By the way (Corina again now) if you haven't looked at the website for this org, I highly recommend it. Not only their national but also many of their chapters have SUCH amazing websites...we all wanted to be members just based on that!
