LISTENERS!! Why you may ask??
I go to school in Norfolk, VA at Old Dominion University. The same city that is home to Norfolk Naval Base ~ home to the largest naval base in the United States. I live in Virginia Beach ~ home to Oceana Naval Air Station, Dam Neck Naval Base, Little Neck Naval Base, and Fort Story Army Base. Portsmouth has the Coast Guardand Portsmouth Naval Hospital. On the other side of the water (Hampton/Newport News) is Langley Air Force Base. I could keep going. I live in the middle of a military rich town. The number of women and men that have been sent overseas for Operation Enduring Freedom is staggering. Everyday a new group leaving, but some groups are starting to come home!
We are blessed that we live in a country where we have Free Speech. But I was FURIOUS when I saw the group of war protestors in Norfolk at the start of the war. How dare they!
As for Natalie, I cannot believe that no one in the last four pages of posts has not mentioned that she also made some very ________ (fill - in the blank) remarks about Toby Keith's song "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning?" She was one of the very few, if not the only one saying...how can he represent country music like that???
They know that they need to do something quick before their tour is scheduled to begin. Would it be different if they were men? I don't know. Suggestions have been made to give a free concert or two to some military families. WHY NOT? I think it would be a GREAT IDEA!! She definitely stuck her foot in her mouth. And the other two women are stuck with her comments since they are part of the band. I think the cover is a desperate attempt to try to recover some of the fans that they lost with these
TWO insert foot comments!
As for the hijacking of this thread, all I have to say is this...When did everyone regress to elementary school namecalling? 
YIKES? GROW UP! Say what you want about me, flame me. But jeez. At least I know that I am a college student who didn't attack ONE SPECIFIC GCer!
