Yup that's true, as we can see from current events. Alas, I don't agree, mainly with this particular case because it's not the sort of action that really requires action. The boycotts that make sense to me are ones in reaction to, I dunno, forcing people to sit in the back of a bus due to their color, or maybe discriminating against people in the workplace due to sexual orientation, or some other oppressive or violent act. Calling a stupid man stupid(or even those poor souls who would call him smart) doesn't really warrent a huge response to me. But your statement is still essentially correct.
