I was thinking about this the other day, when the term "serial killer" was first used, there were two victims. Now, there are five. I know it is just restating the obvious, but it really got to me.
Here is some info I picked up from the court tv message board. I have not verified any of this info. but I thought it was interesting.
"In reading archived articles on The Advocate, I learned that Gina Green had been in the news prior to her murder. And there were photos of her as well. She was demonstrating portable infusion therapy for the daughter of a Baton Rouge EMS Public Education event coordinator."
"Dene:
1) Police stated there was evidence that Dene had been watched from her residence, in some amount.
She also spoke to her brother before leaving and explained her plans to him.
2) Police also reported that in the area where the Dene crime was committed the SK left a very important item. An item that would force him to get all his further info on the case from the media.
3) I'm recalling the AMW portrayal of Dene's car...how it was parked and how the windows were partially rolled down. I couldn't think of how or why she would have been stopped with her windows down like that
4) I think her brother believes there may be a connection between her murder and her frequent use of the internet. He mentioned in a couple of TV interviews that she stayed on the computer much of the time.
Also a reporter has said that in speaking to the brother,he did talk to Dene that morning,however there was no mention of her going to Grand Coteau.
Green:
A) also owned the home health care business
B) was sitting at her vanity getting ready to meet friends for dinner when the SK attacked.
*Gina: Bike rode around Lakes on Campus the afternoon before her murder.
*Gerlynn: Followed home from registering at LSU and murdered.
*Murray: worked on campus at the CEBA building, followed home from work to home at noonish and murdered. Just graduated.
*Christine Moore: Parked at Farr Horse Park/River Road (south side of campus) to jog. Body found on/near LSU AG land. Just registered for Grad school.
*Teresa Gilcrease: Body left on LSU-A (Alexandria) property on Dean Lee Research/LSU AG center extension program.
*Pam Kinamore: Visited LSU campus (fieldhouse) two nights before her murder for a party her son was invited to. Accessed the southgate either coming or going.
*Mari Ann Fowler: Drove on Christmas eve to I 10, from her home to I 10 easiest route would take her through campus, near south gate...(?), abducted when she stopped at Subway, just off I 10.
*Carrie Yoder: Spent most of the day Monday at Library on LSU campus, just prior to her abduction/murder.
We're not sure of Dene, although it is possible that she may have toured the school while visiting her brother in BR.
If so, then this would certainly strengthen the LSU connection theory.
It would therefore seem almost without doubt as to where Sk found his victims.
