Yes, it is sad, and because of the media coverage, I'm sure it'll be difficult for the children later in life. Seeing that he had other baby mothers, and there's the possibility that Deidre was domestically abused, I can't begin to imagine the tumult of feelings that are going on inside of her. However,I have a few questions:
1) If her brother picked him up, then does that mean she was expecting him to come home?
2) I do believe I read (or heard on the news) that his body was found inside of the doorway or near it. So, was he shot as soon as he came in the house? If in fact he had been domestically abusing her before they separated and she expected him to come, why not change the locks (I'm going on the presumption here that she was in fear for her life)?
3) What happened to her brother? Did he just drop him off and leave or was he waiting on him in the car. I mean, if Fred Lane was not coming home to reconcile and was only coming by to try to raise $$, does that mean he wasn't planning on staying there? But wasn't his bags also nearby?
4) Why was she initially taking a part in planning his memorial?
It'll be interesting to see how this progresses.
