RedefinedDiva, Sugar-N-Spice and Afro-Chic are walking to the student union parking lot where the Alpha Probate is being held.

“I’m mad that we waited on NoworNever and that chick didn’t even meet us at the spot.” Afro-Chic went on to complain, “she knew we were dropping class early so that we could get good spots. I don’t want to be in the middle of the group packed like a bunch of sardines standing next to some tall dudes who won’t let you see the show.”

“I hear you on that one,” RedefindedDiva commented, “or stand next to some guy trying to grab my buttcheek.”

The girls walk towards the parking lot and as they get closer to the show… they see NoworNever looking nervous as she is watching the show. The girls look at one another figuring out that something is wrong and they run up to her.

“NoworNever, what’s wrong with you?” Sugar-N-Spice looks at her.

“I’m cool. Just waiting on SevenOhTwo to cross.”

“SevenOhTwo made line. Ain’t he TwoOneThree and OneOneTwo’s cousin?”

NoworNever shakes at the mention of OneOneTwo’s name and RedefinedDiva notices it.

“You’ll get over him. I realize how close the two of you were, but he is gone now,” RedefinedDiva reassures her, while grabbing the Alpha bag which is shaking in NoworNever’s hand.

“I know, its just that sometimes, I see his ghost.”

“It will be okay.”

“Look,” Afro-Chic jumps in, “they are getting ready to come out.”

The girls are watching as the line of seven unmask themselves and reveal themselves to the campus. The men who have adorned shaved heads that are glistening in the sun start chanting and step to the crowd of ooo’s and ah’s. SevenOhTwo leads a step and he notices NoworNever in the crowd, smiles real quick and gets back in a grit.

“He smiled at you,” Sugar-N-Spice calls to her.

“Yeah, he did. What ya’ll got?” Afro-Chic asked her.

“We’re cool, that’s it. It’s hard sometimes because he and OneOneTwo look so much alike, but I’m cool.”

The show is over and the new Alphas march to the plot. The girls follow to the plot so that they can give SevenOhTwo his gift. RedefinedDiva notices Professor LadyGreek at the plot with MeezDescreet and becomes disgusted, but she quickly fixes her face as they get closer to them.

“I don’t know why she wouldn’t give me an A on that paper,” RedefinedDiva thought to herself, “and I need an A in this class so I can keep my Honor’s status. If I get a B in this class and a B in my Speech class, my G. P. A. will be a 3.406. Maybe I can talk her into doing some extra credit or something because even she said she liked my paper.”

“Congratulations!” Sugar-N-Spice and Afro-Chic said at the same time.

“Thank you,” SevenOhTwo says, almost out of breath.

“Here is your gift… I hope you lik…” NoworNever starts to hand him his gift and she sees how much SevenOhTwo looked so much like OneOneTwo with his shaved head and she passes out.

Afrochic, Sugar_N_Spice, and SevenOhTwo stand in a circle amazed that NoworNever passed out. As they stood there watching, SevenOhTwo's sister EightOhEight came up to hug her brother. She looked down at NoworNever.


808: Ain't one of yall gonna help her up? What happened to her?

702: Man, I don't know, Baby Sis. She looked at me and just passed out. You know that NO WOMAN can resist the ICE COLD magnetism of an ALPHA man.

808: You have been an Alpha man for like 7 minutes and now you wanna talk mad junk. Before you were an Alpha man, you could not buy a date.

702: You think so?

808: I know so. You have been sweating Gina1201 for 2 1/2 years. I don't see her up here now sweating you.

702: Man, I don't know where Gina was. I was really hoping she would have been here tonight. I have been writing her poetry once a week for the past two years.

Afrochic: You have got to be kidding me. You are WHIPPED.

702: Man soon I am going to get my chance to whip it on GINA. That SWEET SEXY THAAAAAAAANG GINA.

While they stood there talking, NoworNever lay there faking her fainting to gather this info on 702. She decided it was time to "wake up." She tentatively sat up, "Where. where am I?"

Afrochic: Girl you fell the hell out.

NorN: Afrochic don't try to clown with that lopsided afro of yours. **singing** You need to pick yo afro Daddyyyyyyyy cuz it's flat on one side.

The group laughed as they helped NoworNever up off of the ground.

NorN: I am headed back to the dorm. I have stuff to do.

S_N_S: But there is a party up at the center in an hour.

NorN: I said I have stuff to do. I will try to roll through later.

S_N_S: What are you going to be doing? Or is it WHO?

NorN: Mind yo business. I have . . . .
