But I just discovered him this summer and I think he's really cool... I'm just not into popular music at all and thought he was great and fell in love with his music.
Admittedly, I do not visualize myself as this visionary underground music type of person for doing so. I KNOW it took me forever! (I also rarely listen to the radio at all.)
The English major in me goes crazy over his lyrics. They're wonderful.
I really don't think he sounds THAT much like DMB. I frankly don't like them that much. I also don't think his enunciation problems are nearly as bad as Dave's. He does seem to have breath control issues, if you listen to his live album. I think it's on 3x5 where he sounds like he's gasping for air.
I really, really want to see him in concert.
