Hmm, the game is somewhat different on PS2. On the PC, all you have to do is create your family, build a home, and give the successful careers, relationships etc. That's it. With the PS2 version, you get objectives that you have to meet before you can move on to the next phase of the game. To me, both are equally addictive, but since the PC version has been out longer, you can do much more. However, you can have some two-player interaction on PS2. If you want the full Sims experience, I say start on the PC and work your way through the expansion packs.
I've been so busy lately, I haven't had a chance to sit down and play either version. I think I might do that this weekend...
