Hey James, are there kids in this scenario?
I think that would have an impact too.

I know it sounds selfish, but I don't know that I could stay in that kind of marriage. Not because of sex, but because you'd have to devote the majority of your time to assisting this person since they can't do things for himself/herself. This would be especially difficult if you're young and still have the majority of your life to live...if you were much older, at least you would have done many of the things you planned to do with your life before you had to handle this type of reponsibility.
