There is an apartment complex almost across the street from the campus - if you are interested I can look up the name. I think it may be RiverWalk - or something similar - a friend of mine lived there when he was a grad student at IUPUI.
It was near campus, the building was safe and secure, and they were cute. If you have any questions or anything - I would be more than happy to help.
After graduation I am moving to Raleigh - so I totally understand the fun of looking for a place to live remotely.
