I believe that one of the reasons that tinsel town will be showing support for Gore, is not because they pretend to empathize with our struggles, but because a conservative administration would be very hard on the movie and television industry. There are already political machines that want to censor what is going on in Hollywood most of them with strong ties to the Republican party.
I think that it is really important that we all consider the records of each of these prospective candidates. Let's not look at what they say they are going to do, but what they have done in the past. Sexy Mocha already posted some of Cheney's (sp?) congressional voting record on the Alpha under the thread "Presidential Hope" thread I believe. Check it out. If I new how to copy and post it here I would.
Campaign promises, particularly from a Bush (yes, I went there), don't seem to mean much. Everyone remember, "Read my lips, no new taxes!" Remember what happened just a few short years later. That's all for now. I am sure I will be back.
