Did anyone see the interview with George W. Bush's father, former president Bush? Anyway, it seems as if he still is upset that he lost to Clinton.
Anyway, I am an Independent voter. I am liberal, but I do have some Conservative views (welfare, handouts, etc). I tend to vote Democrat.
I do think that the GOP convention is a "show" for the party. AL Sharpton made a comment on Geraldo's show on MSNBC the other night regarding the Republican's "Broadway" show (it was to that effect). And that most of the MINORITY (black) delegates were on the stage giving speeches. They even had a brutha (maybe in this case a brother) on stage during the roll call.
But, did you all notice how Colin Powell has gone "against" the parties ideology regarding AFFIRMATIVE ACTION? That will be interesteing...
If the parties decision to be more "inclusive" is LEGIT and SINCERE, then they MAYbe victorious in November. If this is a SHOW, maybe they will get it in 2004.
