A few thoughts on the XFL's demise: I watched the first game, lost a heckuva lot of interest afterward.
I know everyone talks about poor-quality football, lowlife announcers and declasse cheerleaders. That didn't kill it. I think it had to do with the fact that stockholders were involved. And in this market there's no tolerance for losing $$$$."
