The problem is if everyone begins to point out her flaws to him, he might wind up being defensive and staying with her just to prove you wrong. I saw it with my sister. She was involved with a guy for four years including living with him for the last year. For the first three years, we were more than happy to point out his painfully obvious flaws. She chose to be oblivious. My mother told us (my youngest sister and me) to mind our business and not comment on their relationship. If we commented, we were setting up a Romeo and Juliet type of romance and it would draw them closer. I heeded my mother's advice and was a supportive sister. I never 'told her so' when she complained about him when they were living together. I just told her that if she ever needed a place to live that she could move in with me. The next month she ended things with him and moved in. Ding dong the witch was dead.
