I would like to tell you that for the last three years I have had someone very close in my family die from cancer. The cancer was usually diagnosed in the later stages and chemotherapy was too late. The best advice that I could give to you is to cherish the days with your mother now more than ever. In a sense you have to make everyday special because your mother is suffering from a disease that could kill her. Pray to God for strength and accept God's will. I had an uncle that died of cancer last summer and believe me the pain that he went through was unbearable. I wish he was with me today, but I know that he is in a place where he is no longer suffering. So I think the best advice to you would be to continue praying and ask God to watch over your mother and her family.
