My sincerest apologies!
After rereading the post and seeing Legal Diva's reply, I realized that Carlos & Charlie's is in Cozumel, not Cancun. We went to both places and since they both start with a "C", I got them confused.
But to add to her post, I went to the ruins, they're called Tulum. (This I'm sure of!
) They're in Playa del Carmen (on the mainland). You can hop on a boat right in Playa del Carmen to go to Cozumel, which is about 25-30 minutes away. If you do decide to go to Cozumel, bring Dramamine!!!! (motion sickness stuff). The boat ride is a little choppy, but worth it!
