I'm in the process of pursuing my dream of becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I was just wanted to get the opinion of members and sisterfriends as well, what exactly is the protocol?? What do you as members expect from prospectives? If I approach a member and state my interest, should I ask to help out with community service events? Should I call everyday or every once in a while to show my interest? What should I do when school starts besides go to every event I possibly can? My grades are in order, my heart is in order, I just want to show Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. that I am worthy and I am willing to work hard. I guess I just need some words of wisdom and I would appreciate anything.

Also, I was wondering, did anyone have a boyfriend while going through intake? If so, did that hinder/help you through the process. I mean, I love my man and I love Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. too. How do you balance it out?
