I think in general, guys could be threatened by a woman knowing more about any subject than them, especially one as prevalent in the male culture as sports.
I'll be the first to admit, I love watching sports, but never could rattle off JD Drew's RBI percentage from last year or any facts like that. But my sister? My God, she's like a Sports Illustrated Almanac. And she has guys around her all the time that love that kind of thing, so to each their own, I guess.
