I just wanted to point out that the original "Just out of curiousity" thread was not meant to pit mods against non-mods...I just wondered if I was the only one concerned with the high volume of thread locking. Perhaps better explanations of why threads are closed would lessen some of the negative reactions that go along with thread locking.
And as always, lets at least try to play nice!
