Hey don't give up. My first summer job in college I went to a restaurant to apply. They wanted me to go ahead and talk w/ one of the managers. So I stayed for 45 minutes and finally the host told me that I probably should come back the next day. So I did, and waited another hour until I talked to the GM. He was cool and said he wanted to hire me, but that he couldn't guarantee a job. He said to call when I was out of school and he'd see. I was sorta down but figured I'd keep looking. As soon as I got home the phone rang and it was the manager saying he was guaranteeing me a job because he heard about my persistence. So don't worry!!!
